Empowering Education through a seamless ISQMS Experience
Edu-tive is an ed-tech company providing an Integrated School Quality Management System (ISQMS). The ISQMS is a comprehensive framework designed to improve the quality of education and streamline school operations in K-12 schools affiliated with different boards of education in India and across the globe. UXIndia was commissioned to enhance the user experience of the ISQMS, ensuring that educators, administrators, and stakeholders can easily navigate, utilize, and benefit from the system.
Designing an Integrated School Quality Management System (ISQMS) from scratch presented three key challenges: understanding diverse user needs ranging from educators to administrators, integrating complex features like academic management and real-time analytics seamlessly, and ensuring scalability to adapt to evolving K-12 school requirements and global educational frameworks.
During the research phase, we extensively engaged with educators, administrators, parents, and students through interviews and surveys to understand their specific needs. Additionally, we analyzed existing educational systems to identify effective UX solutions and industry best practices. This research-driven approach allowed us to create detailed user personas and flows, providing a comprehensive understanding of user interactions and guiding the subsequent design process.
The information architecture was organized in a clear and logical manner, ensuring easy navigation. By developing user personas and mapping out user flows, we created a structured framework that simplifies how users interact with the system. This step laid the foundation for an intuitive and user-friendly design, facilitating efficient access to essential functions.
A robust data visualization and dashboard design were implemented to provide stakeholders with insightful and easily digestible information. The data visualization components were tailored to present academic data, administrative metrics, and stakeholder feedback in a visually compelling manner. Interactive charts, graphs, and infographics were utilized to convey complex information effectively.
The newly developed ISQMS stands as a testament to user-centered design principles, offering a seamless and intuitive experience for educators, administrators, parents, and students. The system efficiently manages academic data, administrative tasks, and stakeholder engagement, fostering an environment conducive to quality education and efficient school management.
By starting from scratch and incorporating user feedback at every stage, the resulting ISQMS not only meets but exceeds user expectations, setting a new standard for intuitive, user-friendly educational management systems.
