Revolutionizing Arborist Services with User-Centric Management Software
Better Tree Arborists are highly trained, knowledgeable tree care professionals. They were facing challenges in managing their arborists, equipment, and service requests efficiently. Manual scheduling processes led to inefficiencies, resulting in overstaffing during slow periods and understaffing during peak hours. To address this they decided to invest in a user-friendly application, streamlining workforce management, optimizing equipment usage, and ensuring the safety of their employees.
User interviews were conducted to gather insights into their current scheduling processes, pain points and desired features.
User personas were created for different types of users like managers, employees and administrators. Their goals, challenges and expectations concerning scheduling tasks and equipment requests were identified.
Explored different ways to visualize arborist schedules, equipment availability, and customer requests, ensuring a seamless user experience. Detailed wireframes were created with focus on the functionality and content placement.
Seamless access was ensured through user-friendly login options, including the convenience of Touch ID. This intuitive authentication method offered both ease of use and robust security, enhancing the overall login experience for users.Dynamic push notifications were intelligently deployed to keep users informed about the progress of their tasks. These timely updates were displayed directly on the screen, providing users with valuable insights into ongoing activities.
The schedules were meticulously color-coded, enhancing visual clarity and simplifying the complex task of managing appointments. Each color was thoughtfully chosen, allowing users to quickly discern between different types of tasks, ensuring seamless planning and coordination.
